🚪 New Automatic Doors Now Installed at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex!

We're excited to announce the latest improvement to our facilities here at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex, brand-new automatic powered doors have now been installed at our main Clubhouse entrance!

This upgrade is part of our ongoing commitment to making YOSC as accessible, inclusive, and welcoming as possible for everyone in our community. Whether you're pushing a pram, using a wheelchair, carrying sports kit, or simply juggling a coffee and your car keys, entering the building just got a whole lot easier!

For many of our users, particularly those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility the previous heavy doors posed a challenge. The new automatic doors remove that barrier, making it much easier and safer for everyone to access the complex independently and with dignity.

The installation of automatic doors not only improves access, but also adds an extra layer of convenience and energy efficiency to our venue helping us reduce heat loss during colder months and supporting our sustainability goals.

We're continually working to make YOSC a place that works for everyone; athletes, families, volunteers, and visitors alike. These improvements are made possible thanks to the support of our partners at Yate Town Council who have funded this upgrade, and we’re incredibly grateful for that.

So next time you're popping down for a training session, a match, or just a catch-up in the café, you’ll notice the doors opening just in time to welcome you in!
